My name is Cara Fuller I'm the principal Ballou stay stays opportunity Academy our mission is support students in the educational Journey who need a second or third chance I'm here today to talk to you about Fitness to Feed Fitness to feed in partnership with Fog Hill Incorporated is a 5K run walk 10K bike or jumping jack challenge to help raise money for our students or students are facing unprecedented times and they always to ask for help if we don't want to disappoint them now but I need your help with one team one action one voice we can make a difference with over a hundred students at Ballou stay who struggle with being homeless on a day-to-day basis we are certain that Fitness to feed will help support these students with food housing in lifestyle needs a doubled up and kautzer our students are moving from house to house to house from what time to home from couch to couch couch that could beat a lie another issue that we have their students are actually in shelters right now during covid-19 you have to stay in a shelter or you're going to lose the bed because it's so many individual you are currently looking for homes and shelter and then we also have students who are unsheltered and that means the outside abandoned homes and possibly cars think of that nature covid-19 is Illuminating the disparities in are cities and communities especially for those families who need additional support for a bus going to a grocery store and ensuring that your little ones face base and then carrying bags of groceries home shelter limited support from family unlimited access to resources one of the many with some basic needs such as Food hygiene materials wellness support you know things that will help one make it a loan away doing a Chrysler such as one we've never been confronted with before in the movie Forrest Gump said that look like a box of chocolates you never know what you're going to get boxes are full of disappointment trial struggle tribulation but they're also Overcomers we're asking you to help us do a fundraiser call Fitness so we can support their dreams and help them do this covid-19 dimmick thank you for your support
