Dear Parents and Families of Ballou STAY High School,

It is with great sadness to share with you an update on a member of our school community. Over the weekend Nathaniel Ford was tragically killed as a result of gun violence. As a member of the Ballou STAY family, we know that he will be greatly missed by all who knew him. On behalf of Ballou STAY faculty, staff, and students, I extend my deepest condolences to Nathaniel’s family and friends.

Nate was an active student at Ballou STAY for three years. He was always willing to participate in school activities and trips. He was known for his inviting smile and welcoming demeanor. Nate was a cheerleader for those around him and served as mentor and motivator. He was dedicated to supporting his family and friends. Nate will be missed and never forgotten.
