the monument project students were asked to reflect on individuals and events that have had a significant impact on society when students decided on a person or event I felt should be commemorated they were required to write an argumentative essay to convince the public that this person or event should be commemorated in a monument on mirror there were several components to the project but the most what's for students to be able to convince them to defend the argument and explain how the this proves that the topic need recognition when students completed the inscription the final stage of this project require students to create a design concept for the money to be displayed in the classroom where they review for submission the monument project was intended to stretch the creativity of the students knowledge and ability to convey a complex idea written and visual components Frederick Douglass was a great speaker he was well known for giving inspirational speeches to crowd on his personal encounters and many other things Zara Williams gave an account of one of his speeches I shall never forget his face at the convention the extraordinary emotion it excited in my own mind the powerful impression it created upon a crowded auditory completely taken by surprise the applause was smiling from the beginning to the end of his I would love for Miss Harris to be remembered for the awesome work she did to help others and become the person she is I think if Miss Harris had a monument or something to be remembered by it will persuade your mom to always work hard and never give up a monument for Miss Harris will make mom feel like they still have a chance at being an independent successful woman everybody has inner demons they are fighting even Mister Jacks luckily he was able to overcome here who playing on screen drug demon Samuel Jackson was forced to confront his own off-screen demons and increasingly destructive alcohol is enable Jackson to give up drug making it the personal and professional success
